MGRP introduced services from the global organization in Germany for this client and in turn established the German operation as an IT service provider for the international business for the first time. The services form the basis for the standardized workplace of the future, as well as for seamless integration and global collaboration.

For a Dutch bank’s cloud application, we were responsible for migrating all IT products at the German site to a high-performance cloud infrastructure. In the course of this transformation, the employee working model was revamped and aligned with modern requirements.

We converted the IT strategy of a German insurance company into a highly effective agenda of strategic measures and policies for all employees in order to closely align employee activities with the IT strategy and thus the client’s business strategy. Using strategy workshops, multipliers were trained to support the pursuit of the overall strategy and development of projects that could be seamlessly integrated into the client’s vision.

We are analyzing the current state of the IT setup for an international insurance firm’s field sales department and developing a target concept, including a new virtual workplace. Following pilot testing and in close consultation with the executive board, we will support the implementation, the gradual roll-out to hundreds of field sales employees and the associated digital transformation.

Digital disruption in the pharmaceutical industry
Changes to regulatory requirements and ever-increasing cost pressure forced a leading generics manufacturer to realign its production IT strategy. To this end, a new IT/digitalization vision was developed with the aim of phased renewal instead of a complete overhaul of legacy machinery and infrastructure. Feasibility, affordability, and organizational fit served as the guideposts for the IT realignment.

A German health insurance association wishing to re-tender the infrastructure for the data center operation of central services has chosen us to coordinate the entire Europe-wide tendering process and subsequent implementation. We are supporting the preparation of the tender by drafting the tender documents, defining the scope of services and the service description, and drafting and writing the contracts. Subsequently, we will accompany and document the public tender process and take part in bidder discussions and negotiations. Once the tender has been awarded, we will orchestrate the transition and migration to the new contractor, leaving our client free to focus on operational matters.

The future of airport advertising
For a seller of cross media airport advertising, we analyzed the main drivers and uncertainties that will shape the client’s highly complex industry environment over the next ten years. We used intelligence-approved methods to create several future scenarios for the years 2025 and 2030 and helped the client to understand at an early stage the specific opportunities and challenges of each of them.

Selection of an external service provider
An airport operator wanted to reduce the degree of vertical integration and boost the effectiveness of its IT setup through the resulting increase in flexibility. Against this backdrop, we helped our client to prepare the tender for an external service provider. In addition to the important task of preparing the public tender well, we also got involved in stakeholder management as early as possible and ensured transparency through regular communication. This started the change process that would allow the operator to take those affected along on the journey with it in good time.

Definition of an IT operator model
While consolidating units, the company also wanted to introduce a new IT operator model. We helped our client on this journey and provided our expertise in the form of sourcing advice. Once the customer had decided on the basic direction in which it wished to go and opted for a holistic sourcing approach, we moved on to the analysis. Based on this, we derived the “to-be” concept and thus the RfP process and prepared the subsequent transition phase.

In order to establish a digitalization center in a small German city, we developed concepts with the stakeholders involved and the initial road map for implementing the digitalization project in relevant areas, especially mobility, digital connectivity, business development and public participation. The goal was to refine the digital agenda for the competence center that the city wished to establish.
